PONY CAMP weekly group programs are available beginning JUNE 22, 2020 for children ages 5-14.

Whether your child has never ridden before or needs a refresher course, Pony Camp is designed to get your child off to a solid start with the basics.
Learning to mount, ride and control the horse’s movements is a fantastic way to improve focusing on a task, developing communication skills, improving balance, muscle development and coordination.
This newly acquired ability encourages responsibility and builds self-confidence, all the while having fun with new friends!
- How to be safe and confidence around horses
- Use a lead-line & walk a horse
- Learn the correct riding position;
- Use the ramp & block to mount
- Mount and ride at the walking pace
- Become familiar with horse equipment and barn routines,
- Groom, curry, comb, feed and care for a horse.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: An approved helmet with chin-strap Hard-soled, closed-toe shoes or boots with a heel Long non-slippery pants or jeans Dress warmly & wear gloves if weather is cold or wet (We have a limited helmet supply)
